Nice title :) I remember the first time I visited Bucharest and went to the old town center. It is a shame that so many beautiful buildings are left to degrade instead of being restored to their old glory.

You're so right :)
But I belive there are some issues that you don't know very well. I don't know it very well either. But I've heard the authorities worked a lot to solve some legal issues regarding property :D I think they solved this problem and we hope they will start the restauration in less then 6 months
